“Whom Do You Like More?” 《你最喜欢谁？》is a level one graded reader published by Chinese Breeze. At level one, a reader with 300 Chinese characters under their belt should be able to read this book. Typically, this would come after one year’s worth of college level Chinese.

This book was written by Yuehua Liu (of “Integrated Chinese” fame) and Chengzhi Chu, with Qin Xie. Part of the “Chinese Breeze” graded Chinese readers book series, it is well suited for Level 2 learners, those who have a solid working knowledge of 500 Chinese characters.
Mandarin Companion does a great job of modernizing “Emma”《安末》
If Jane Austen could read Chinese, I think she’d be delighted with this rendition of “Emma” (《安末》). Whereas the original “Emma” is set in early nineteenth century England, 《安末》is set in modern Shanghai.
